Contract duration : 4 Months with Possible Extension

Job Description :

  • Coordinating events, supporting executive calendar and their busy schedule. Supporting dept. chair.

  • Assists in maintaining office equipment and purchases.
  • Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information.
  • Interact with internal and external offices or professionals to facilitate communications and information exchange.
  • Maintains schedules for faculty, serves as a point of contact for faculty to coordinate their academic events and on-site visits.
  • Researches and gathers data for departmental reports and solve problems to improve the working process.
  • Coordinates department public relations functions, as assigned, such as special events, conferences, seminars, etc. Arranges with vendors for sites, facilities, catering, guest accommodations, etc. Coordinates production and/or distribution of promotional materials.
  • Composes and produces a variety of business correspondence, reports, confidential documents and/or forms
  • Screens and prioritizes incoming calls, determining what contact or action is required for satisfactory disposition. Responds to inquiries or requests for information or refers to the supervisor, as appropriate.

Required :

  • College/bachelor’s degree

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Los Angeles, CA 90033: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
