What is my Impact?

IT Provider Portal Testing Specialists creates test deliverables (for example, strategies, plans and test cases) and performs hands-on testing for internally developed or external purchased products. Types of testing may include system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.


What are my Key Responsibilities?

  • Creates a test approach, identifying scope of testing with risk-based approach for each feature or scope of work in a project effort identifying test environments, dependencies, constraints, prioritizing test cases and scheduling time for the testing.
  • Responsible for ensuring end to end testing methodology including all appropriate documentation and requirements.
  • Ensures test results are accurate, thorough, and appropriately documented.
  • Work with developers to create automated tests.
  • Work with business analysts and business stakeholders to undertake exploratory testing.

What is Required?

  • Required Work Experience: 3+ years related work experience. Experience in business and/or system testing in provider portal application experience. (Examples: Vista & Link)
  • Required Education: High school diploma or GED

  • Thorough understanding of the business process(s) and flows involved in the system capabilities being tested
  • Thoroughly understands As-Is and To-Be business processes to understand what's changing
  • Must have the ability to extract data utilizing moderately complex SQL queries
  • Ability to clearly identify data needs and requirements for the respective test efforts

  • Florida Blue organization experience.

General Physical Demands:

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $66,400 - $107,900

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $66,400 - $83,000

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
